Venusaur is a Grass, Poison-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Ivysaur after being fed 100 candies. Venusaur is the final evolution of Bulbasaur that is a Starter Pokémon. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur initially after being given 200 Mega Energy.
Pokédex description
There is a large flower on Venusaur's back. The flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. The flower's aroma soothes the emotions of people.
In order to support its flower, which has grown larger due to Mega Evolution, its back and legs have become stronger.

- Clone Venusaur knowing Frenzy Plant was available in raid during Pokémon Day 2020.
- Normally, evolved stages of Pokémon cannot be shiny in encounter screen, but exceptionally during Special Raid Challenge and on Mega Evolution release, Venusaur could.
- Venusaur is a tier 3 Raid Boss most recently. However, it used to be a tier 4 before.
- Before the release of Mega Levels, Venusaur could Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur initially after being given 200 Mega Energy, and 40 afterwards.
