In order to obtain Roar of Time and Spacial Rend, Trainers had to catch Origin Forme Dialga or Origin Forme Palkia respectively during the event. These special moves were not guaranteed to be obtained upon capture.

Compensation Timed Research[]
Due to an issue where shiny rates for Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia were not increased,[2] compensation Timed Researches were later issued on August 22nd, 2025,[3] that awarded encounters guaranteed Shiny Origin Forme Dialga and Shiny Origin Forme Palkia.[4] The Timed Researches were titled Encounter: [1-16] Origin Forme [Pokémon Name]. If more than 16 were to be received, extra copies of the Timed Researches were given out. The Timed Researches were available to claim until December 31st, 2025.
