Ultra Bonus Event in 2018 was a reward event in Pokémon GO that was given to Trainers after their completion of Global Challenge. It featured a series of action-packed rewards about the Kanto Pokémon.[1]

Pokémon in wildPokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region had increased spawn rates in the wild and from Incense or Lure Modules:
7-km EggsThese Pokémon would hatch from 7-km Pokémon Eggs obtained during the event. On September 30th, Niantic announced to extend regional hatches to October 8th.[2]
These Raid Bosses were available during the event. The Legendary Birds were available from September 14th to September 20th, and Mewtwo come after them until October 23rd for the first time to challenge in normal Raid Battles. Other than Regirock, other Raid Bosses were replaced by Kanto Pokémon. During the Legendary Birds period, all Raid Eggs only took 15 minutes to hatch, and the Raid time was extended to 90 minutes.

Special shop offersThese offers were available from the shop during the event. The first set was available from September 13th to September 20th, 2018, focusing on hatching 7-km Eggs.[3]
Starting on September 21st, 2018, there was the second set focusing on Mewtwo raid.[4]
Starting on October 2nd, 2018, the last set of boxes were available.[5]
