Star Piece is an item that awards 50% more Stardust for 30 minutes. This item's effects will last even if the player is offline.
Like Lucky Eggs, this item cannot be obtained from a PokéStop, but rather can be awarded through Special Research tasks or purchased in the Shop. One Star Piece can be purchased for 
100 and eight Star Pieces can be purchased for 640. Once activated, the player will be surrounded by small particles, and a timer with the Star Piece's icon will appear at the top right of the screen.

Trivia[]
- More than one Star Piece can be activated in order to increase the duration of the Star Piece's effect. For example, activating two Star Pieces (one after the other) will increase the Star Piece's duration from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
- This item was found in game data on December 6th, 2017, after update to the version 0.85.1 was released.
