In order to obtain Tri Attack, Trainers had to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon-Z after the start of event and up to 2 hours after the end of event. Trainers cannot use TMs to obtain the attack.

- According to reports, an update was added to Porygon-Z’s programming that was supposed to allow it to move between dimensions. But the upgrade also caused Porygon-Z to become unstable, and it began behaving erratically.
- Because the update caused instability, academics can’t seem to agree on whether Porygon-Z should be considered a true Evolution of Porygon2.
- It’s going to take a bit of time to file away all this research, but I’m thrilled we were able to learn more about Porygon and its Evolutions!

Voting process[]
The September and October 2020 Community Day featured Pokémon voted by players.[4][5] The winner and the first runner-up would be featured in September and October respectively. The vote was available in the official Twitter page on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) until Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).
