Season 3 of GO Battle League lasted from July 27th, 2020 to September 14th, 2020.[1] It is preceded by Season 2 and succeeded by Season 4.
Premier Cup was available with Ultra and Master Leagues during this Season, with the Premier Cup in Ultra League following to the CP limit of 2500. When all the formats were available, only the Premier Cup with no CP limit took place.
During this Season, Trainers still did not require walking to unlock battle sets. The "Battle Until You Win" feature is removed.

Attack changes[]
- Drill Peck: Base power increased from 60 to 65 in Trainer Battles and Gym and Raid Battles.
- Brave Bird: Base power increased from 90 to 130, and 100% chance to decrease the user's Defense by 3 stages in Trainer Battles.
- Infestation: Energy gain increased from 11 to 12 in Trainer Battles.
- Hex: Energy gain increased from 11 to 12 in Trainer Battles and increased from 15 to 16 in Gym and Raid Battles.
- Powder Snow: Base power increased from 4 to 5 in Trainer Battles.
- Blizzard: Base power increased from 130 to 140 in Trainer Battles.
- Flash Cannon: Energy cost increased from 65 to 70 in Trainer Battles.
- Focus Blast: Base power decreased from 150 to 140 in Trainer Battles.
- Moonblast: Chance to decrease the opponent's Attack by 1 stage in Trainer Battles decreased from 30% to 10%.

- On July 29th, Niantic announced GO Battle League will no longer be unavailable during server maintenance.[2]
- A new format, Flying Cup was initially planned for this Season. It was postponed to the GO Battle Night in Season 4.
