
Season 22 of GO Battle League, also called GO Battle League: Might and Mastery, lasts from March 4th, 2025 to June 3rd, 2025.[1] It is preceded by Season 21 and will be succeeded by Season 23. This GO Battle League Season runs concurrently with Might and Mastery.
This Season keeps the change to the switch timer introduced Season 20, from 60 seconds to 50 seconds.
Formats[]
Willpower Cup: Great League Edition: 1,500 CP limit. Only Fighting-, Psychic-, and Dark-types allowed. Gardevoir is banned.
Scroll Cup: Great League Edition: 1,500 CP limit. Only Water-, Fighting-, and Dark-types allowed. Primarina is banned.
Master Premier: No CP limit. Legendary Pokémon, Mythical Pokémon, and Ultra Beasts are banned.
Spring Cup: Great League Edition: 1,500 CP limit. Only Water-, Grass-, and Fairy-types allowed. Jumpluff, Roserade, and Toxapex are banned.
Great League Remix: 1,500 CP limit. Blastoise, Wigglytuff, Marowak, Galarian Weezing, Lapras, Feraligatr, Azumarill, Jumpluff, Sableye, Cradily, Gastrodon, Drapion, Serperior, Mandibuzz, Talonflame, Malamar, Golisopod, Morpeko, Annihilape, and Clodsire are banned.
Retro Cup: Great League Edition: 1,500 CP limit. Dark-, Steel-, and Fairy-types are banned.
Catch Cup: Great League Edition: 1,500 CP limit. Only Pokémon caught during Might and Mastery allowed.

GO Battle League Timed Research is for the GO Battle League Season 22. A Ticket for this Timed Research was available in the in-game shop at no cost from March 4th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to March 18th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Each part of the Timed Research had the same requirements, with the only difference being the rewards for completing each part.

- Psyshock: Energy cost decreased from 45 to 40 in Trainer Battles.
- Dazzling Gleam: Power decreased from 110 to 90 and energy cost decreased from 70 to 55 in Trainer Battles.
- Aqua Jet: Power increased from 45 to 70 and energy cost decreased from 45 to 40 in Trainer Battles.
- Dynamic Punch: Energy cost decreased from 50 to 45 in Trainer Battles.
- Sludge: Power increased from 50 to 70 in Trainer Battles.
- Hex: Power increased from 6 to 7 and energy gain increased from 12 to 13 in Trainer Battles.
- Acrobatics: Energy cost decreased from 60 to 55 in Trainer Battles.
- Air Cutter: Power decreased from 60 to 45, energy cost decreased from 55 to 35, and added 30% chance to increase the user's Attack by 1 stage in Trainer Battles.
- Rock Tomb: Power increased from 70 to 80 and energy cost decreased from 60 to 50 in Trainer Battles.
