Pokémon Spotlight Hour is a weekly event that features increased spawn rate of Pokémon in the wild and bonuses for Candy, Stardust, or XP.[1] It occurs on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in local time zone.

Trivia
- This event was canceled on February 25th, 2020.[5]
- Pokémon Spotlight Hours on March 3rd, 10th and 17th, 2020 were canceled in Japan, South Korea and Italy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6]
- Since April 2020, Pokémon Spotlight Hour is combined with Mystery Bonus Hour, featuring both a Pokémon and a special bonus.[7]
- This event was canceled on June 2nd, 2020.[8] It was likely because of the global downtime on June 1st, from around 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT.[9]
