Pokémon Day in 2020 was the fourth Pokémon Day event in Pokémon GO.[1] This event features a large number of Event Pokémon.
Features
Featured Pokémon
These Pokémon were released with the start of the event. All special forms cannot evolve. Party hat variants can be shiny while clone variants cannot.
Following Pokémon had increased spawn rates in the wild. They are related to the movie - "Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution".
The following Raid Bosses were available for the duration of the event. The Clone Kanto Starters knew Community Day exclusive moves (Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon). Armored Mewtwo knew the exclusive move Psystrike.
Raid Day
The event included a Raid Day on March 1st from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Five Raid Passes were available during this event when spinning Gyms.
Features
Party hat Nidorino and party hat Gengar appeared in tier 2 and 4 Raids respectively. Gengar obtained in this event could learn Lick and Psychic. They could be shiny.
