Pokémon Air Adventures is a recurring regional event that features increased spawn of a specific Pokémon in the wild in a certain location of the world. It is an initiative that helps create wonderful travel memories, hoping that when people can travel, after the COVID-19 pandemic, Pokémon Air Adventures can be an opportunity to help them enjoy traveling even more.[1] In Indonesia, the event is branded as Pikachu’s Indonesia Journey.

- The first Pokémon Air Adventures event—featuring Pikachu wearing an Okinawa kariyushi shirt—was set for July 22nd, 2021, concurrent with the release of shiny Corsola, but the event was postponed due to a resurgence in COVID-19 cases.[1]
- Shiny Corsola was instead released during Pokémon GO Tour: Johto in February 2022.[8]
- The Okinawa Air Adventures event was rescheduled to start on March 19th, 2022, and would last over a year.[6]
