In order to obtain Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon Trainers had to catch or evolve Ivysaur into Venusaur, Charmeleon into Charizard, or Wartortle into Blastoise respectively. In order to obtain Mist Ball and Luster Purge, Trainers had to catch Latias or Latios respectively during the event. Trainers cannot use TMs to obtain the attack.
