Sprint Corporation

On December 7^th, 2016, Sprint became the first U.S. partner. Over 10,500 location around the U.S. became become PokéStops and Gyms. These locations include Sprint, Boost Mobile and Sprint at Radioshack stores.

The Sprint Trainer Rewards program ended on November 15^th, 2018.

Starbucks

Starbucks Pokémon GO Frappuccino®

On December 8^th, 2016, Starbucks became the second U.S. partner. Over 12,800 company-operated stores in the U.S. became PokéStops and Gyms. Starbucks created a special-edition Pokémon GO Frappuccino® to celebrate the partnership. On January 12, 2017, over 5,000 additional Starbucks stores were converted to Gyms and PokéStops.

Baskin-Robbins

During August 2020, select Baskin-Robbins locations across the United States hosted PokéStops and Gyms.

Verizon

On November 7^th, 2020, the GO Special Weekend having Verizon as partner happened. On May 29^th, 2021, the GO Special Weekend having Verizon as partner happened. On December 14^th, 2021, Verizon Hat and Backpack were made available for avatars. Season of Light Partner Research on 2022 had Verizon as a partner.

Grubhub

On November 8^th, 2020, the GO Special Weekend having Grubhub as partner happened.

Amazon Prime Gaming

Pokémon GO and Prime Gaming have a partnership where rewards are occasionally available for Amazon Prime subscribers.

• Limited Partner Research: Amazon Prime Gaming was available during Summer 2023.
• Partner Research: Amazon Prime Gaming was available during Fall 2023.
• Through Amazon Prime Gaming, the Holiday Sweater avatar item was released.
• Partner Research - World of Wonders: Amazon Prime Gaming was available during Spring 2024.

Kung Fu Tea

On May 2^nd, 2023, over 350 Kung Fu Tea shops across the US and Canada became PokéStops and Gyms. The promotion lasted throughout June 2023.

Google Play

• Partner Research: Google Play Points was available during Summer 2024.

Pokémon TCG: Charizard ex Super-Premium Collection promotion

From October 4^th to 25^th, 2024, select Best Buy, GameStop, and Target locations in the US became PokéStops. These PokéStops had Lure Modules installed on them every day and could drop special stickers when spun.

Walmart

Starting on October 20^th, 2024, select Walmart locations in the US became PokéStops and Gyms.

McDonald's

Starting on December 16^th, 2024, select McDonald's locations in the US became PokéStops and Gyms. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time during the following dates, the sponsored PokéStops had Lure Modules installed on them and the sponsored Gyms would host 5-star Raid Battles:

• February 10^th - 16^th, 2025

Canada partners

McDonald's

Pokémon GO has announced a collaboration with McDonald's Canada to introduce more PokéStops across the country. Throughout November 2023, players visiting McDonald's restaurants in Canada can engage with Sponsored PokéStops to earn rewards through sponsored Field Research tasks.

On September 1^st, 2016, over 3,700 SoftBank-branded stores and Y!mobile-branded stores became PokéStops or Gyms.

On July 26^th, 2018, the GO Special Weekend having SoftBank as partner happened. On February 23^rd, 2019, the GO Special Weekend having SoftBank as partner happened. On November 7^th, 2020, the GO Special Weekend having SoftBank as partner happened. On December 10^th, 2021, the GO Special Weekend having SoftBank as partner happened.

Ito En and Tully's Coffee

On February 10^th, 2017, Ito En, in partnership with Tully's Coffee, became an official partner. Over 1,800 vending machines and 200 Tully's Coffee shops were converted to Gyms and PokéStops. This was in response to Japan's disaster relief efforts.

On July 27^th, 2018, the GO Special Weekend having Tully's Coffee as partner happened. On April 6^th, 2019, the GO Special Weekend having Tully's Coffee as partner happened. On December 10^th, 2021, the GO Special Weekend having SoftBank as partner happened.

7-Eleven

On April 15^th, 2017, approximately 19,000 7-Eleven stores in Japan became Gyms and PokéStops.

Indian partners

Reliance Jio

On December 13^th, 2016, Jio became the first official partner of Pokémon GO in India. Nearly 3,000 stores were converted to PokéStops and Gyms.

European partners

Unibail-Rodamco

On February 18^th, 2017, new PokéStops and Gyms across 58 shopping and destination centers in 10 European countries were added. Between 10 – 15 new PokéStops and Gyms were added to public spaces, social hubs, and public art at each of the destination centers.

McDonald's

On August 22^nd, 2022, several McDonald's restaurants became PokéStops and McCafé Gyms. On September 13, 2022, a special event will took place in restaurants with a McCafé. "A week to face on the spot and as a team a very powerful and rare Pokémon" this Pokemon was Kyurem.

Latin America and the Caribbean partners

7-Eleven México

On January 29^th, 2020 over 1,800 new Sponsored PokéStops and Sponsored Gyms eligible for EX Raids were created.

On November 7^th, 2020, the GO Special Weekend having 7-Eleven México as partner happened. On May 29^th, 2021, the GO Special Weekend having 7-Eleven México as partner happened. On December 10^th, 2021, the GO Special Weekend having 7-Eleven México as partner happened.

McDonald's

On February 19^th, 2020 over 2,500 new Sponsored PokéStops and Sponsored Gyms eligible for EX Raids were created in 23 countries and regions.

Claro

On January 28^th, 2021 a rewards program partnership in Brazil with the telephone operator Claro was announced. With it, Trainers who choose to subscribe would have access to exclusive experiences and would be able to choose monthly item packs. These bundles included items like Poké Balls, Incense and Battle Passes.

Itau

On March 6^th, 2023 a rewards program partnership in Brazil with the bank Itau was announced. When purchasing a Google Play code through the Itaú application, Pokémon GO Trainers would receive a code for a Pokémon GO Item Pack within 3 business days via SMS (on the cell phone linked to the user's registration in Itaú).

This special promotion ran from Monday, March 6, 2023, through Sunday, March 19, 2023. Only Trainers who purchased Google Play codes through the Itaú app would be eligible to receive Pokémon GO promotional item codes.

Australia partners
