Field Research event tasks[]
Special Research[]

Sweet Snacks Special Research was available during the event. The Ursaluna in this research would know High Horsepower if it was caught during event hours.

- Hey, TRAINER! Good to see you again!
- You know, I thought I smelled something sweet in the air today.
- Did I spill Berry juice again, you ask? You wound me, TRAINER! As if I’d ruin this snazzy new jacket!
- Heh. In all seriousness, the smell was coming from outside.
- Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to track down the source of the scent. But now that you’re here, maybe you can sniff it out!
- Welcome back, TRAINER. Seeing as you’ve got Teddiursa with you, I think I can connect the dots on what I was smelling earlier—honey!
- Teddiursa likes to lick its palms after soaking them in honey, so it’s no wonder I caught a whiff.
- That reminds me of a fun fact about Teddiursa’s Evolution, Ursaring.
- With its ability to distinguish any aroma, Ursaring unfailingly finds all food buried deep underground. If only it was that easy for me to find lunch!
- Why don’t you help Teddiursa evolve so you can see Ursaring’s sleuthing skills for yourself, TRAINER?
- I thought I heard something stomping about, and here you are, Ursaring in tow!
- Here’s the thing about Ursaring—although it has a large body, it’s quite skilled at climbing trees. It eats and sleeps in the treetops.
- Ah, to be an Ursaring... Imagine how much easier that’d make fieldwork—or picking Pinap Berries!
- Ahem. Snacks aside, have you noticed there’s a full moon out early today?
- Looks like Ursaring is staring at it, too. Think you can find out why, TRAINER?
- Whoa! Could that be—Ursaluna?!
- I’ve never seen one in these parts. What an incredible find! Hmm...
- Maybe in the Hisui region of long ago, where Ursaluna was first discovered, the full moon played a part in how Ursaring evolved.
- It’s theorized that Hisui’s swampy terrain gave Ursaluna its burly physique and ability to manipulate peat at will.
- What kind of food would suit a Pokémon accustomed to living in swamps? Grains? Beans? Cake?
- Maybe I should get baking for some firsthand taste-testing. I bet Teddiursa could lend me some honey!
- Ah—listen to me yammering on and on. Researching Pokémon first found in Hisui never fails to pique my curiosity about the past!
- Thanks again for spending the day learning about Pokémon with me, TRAINER. I can always count on you to make my work a little sweeter!
