Each Pokémon species requires a certain amount of Candy and Candy XL to unlock and level up their Max Moves. Each species is assigned a group number, 1 through 4, that denotes the price per level up/unlock.
Group 1[]
Max Move upgrade costs:
- Level 1: 50 Candy
- Level 2: 100 Candy
- Level 3: 40 Candy XL
Group 2[]
Max Move upgrade costs:
- Level 1: 60 Candy
- Level 2: 110 Candy
- Level 3: 45 Candy XL

Max Move upgrade costs:
- Level 1: 70 Candy
- Level 2: 120 Candy
- Level 3: 50 Candy XL
