Magmar is a Fire-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Magby after being fed 25 candies and evolves into Magmortar when fed 100 candies and given a Sinnoh Stone.

- Normally, evolved stages of Pokémon cannot be shiny in encounter screen, but exceptionally during Lunar New Year 2020, and after, Magmar can.[1]
- Magmar is a tier 1 Raid Boss most recently. However, it used to be a tier 2 and 3 before.
