Magmar is a Fire-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Magby after being fed 25 candies and evolves into Magmortar when fed 100 candies and given a Sinnoh Stone.

Spitfire Pokémon
In battle, Magmar blows out intensely hot flames from all over its body to intimidate its opponent. This Pokémon's fiery bursts create heat waves that ignite grass and trees in its surroundings.

  • Normally, evolved stages of Pokémon cannot be shiny in encounter screen, but exceptionally during Lunar New Year 2020, and after, Magmar can.[1]
