During 2022, there were many changes to the Pokémon battle parties of Team GO Rocket Leaders and Giovanni.
Leaders[]
- In a single battle with a Leader, the first Pokémon of each Leader is always the same while the latter two are randomly chosen from three Pokémon in each column. Pokémon highlighted with green can be caught after winning a battle.
January 24th[]
These were the Pokémon battle parties of Leaders from the start of Team GO Rocket Strikes on January 24th to April 2nd, 2022.[1]
April 3rd[]
These were the Pokémon battle parties of Leaders from the start of All-Hands Rocket Retreat on April 3rd to July 8th, 2022.[2]
July 9th[]
These were the Pokémon battle parties of Leaders from the start of Battle Weekend on July 9th to November 13th, 2022.[3]
November 14th[]
These were the Pokémon battle parties of Leaders from the start of Team GO Rocket takeover on November 14th, 2022 to January 31st, 2023.[4]
Giovanni[]
Only one of Pokémon in the middle column is being fought in the single battle with Giovanni and this Pokémon is random. Pokémon highlighted with green can be caught after winning against Giovanni.
April 3rd[]
On April 3rd, 2022, Giovanni's Lugia was swapped for Latias, and his second Pokémon also changed.[2]
July 9th[]
On July 9th, 2022, Giovanni's Latias was swapped for Latios, and his second Pokémon also changed.[3]
November 14th[]
On November 14th, 2022, Giovanni's Latios was swapped for Mewtwo, and his second Pokémon also changed.[4]
