Trivia[]
- Pokémon keep their gender differences in all of their event costumes.
- Pikachu Libre, Pop Star and Rock Star are available only as female.
- Same differences apply to Shiny Pokémon but with respective color schemes.
- There are no Alolan forms with gender differences, even if their Kantonian forms have them.
- For the first few days after Combee's initial release, only the female version was obtainable, and its Pokédex entry only had the female switch.
- Pokémon obtained before January 2017 had no gender. The update that introduced genders also assigned a random gender to these Pokémon. However, the gender assigned did not activate the corresponding gender switch in the Pokédex. The player had to obtain another Pokémon with the corresponding gender to activate the switch.
- The color of male Buizel is more vibrant than that of the female. This gender difference does not exist in any other game. It is likely unintentional.
- Eevee was given a gender difference in update 0.163.0. This gender difference first appeared in Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu!/Let's Go, Eevee!.
- Male Zubat and Golbat has a wider stance with their wings that is only visible in the still image in the collection.
