Statistics

In 2016, 154 new Pokémon species and 154 distinct regular forms were made available to be obtained. Shiny Pokémon were not available back in 2016.

The following Medals became achievable for the first time:

Bronze , Silver and Gold Kanto Medals.
Bronze Johto Medal.

On July 6^th 2016, Kanto-region Pokédex introduced 151 new Pokémon species and distinct forms.
