- Radical researching! Not only do I feel totally refreshed, but I learned a lot from my beachside retreat.

- Some PokéStops and Gyms had strings of festive lights around their base.
- Frozen textures appeared around the Map View and Encounter View.[3]
- The trees in the background of the Encounter View had strings of lights lit up during the nighttime.
- Gifts and snow sculptures of Pikachu and Spheal appeared in the background of the Encounter View.
- Holiday Part 1: Shore Thing Premium Timed Research was extended to December 29th at 8 p.m. local time due to miscommunication.[4]
- Shiny version of Undersea Holiday Glaceon was unavailable during the event. Trainers who participated in its raids will be reimbursed any Raid Passes used and additional Glaceon encounters.[5]
