Ho-Oh is a Fire, Flying-type Legendary Pokémon from Johto region. It doesn't evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Along with Lugia, it is a member of Tower Duo.

Ho-Oh - Rainbow Pokémon
Ho-Oh's feathers glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light. These feathers are said to bring happiness to the bearers. This Pokémon is said to live at the foot of a rainbow.

  • As a former 5th tier Raid Boss, Ho-Oh's CP was 50,064. Its maximum capture CP in Bonus Challenge was 2,207 and 2,759 when encountered Pokémon was boosted by weather.
    • From November 27th to December 14th, 2017 - Ho-Oh was released as the Legendary Raid Boss as a surprise reward for Global Catch Challenge and was available to catch only after defeating it.[1]
    • From May 19th to June 7th, 2018, Ho-Oh returned as a Raid Boss.[2]
    • It was available again from August 25th to August 27th, 2018 to celebrate the Johto Festival.[3]
    • It was available again from December 14th to December 17th, 2018 during Special Raid Weekend.[4]
    • It was available again from December 20th to December 23rd, 2019 during Special Raid Weekend.[5]
  • During January to June 2019, Ho-Oh was the reward of the Research Breakthrough once seven stamps had been obtained with a 1,655 of maximal CP.
  • Shiny Pokémon Shiny form of Ho-Oh was released with the second release of it as a Raid Boss on May 19th, 2018.
