Mega GengarDuring this event there was a Timed Research series that was titled Mega Gengar in game. Only Trainers who completed Timed Research during Mega Buddy Challenge would access this. A total of 260 Gengar Mega Energy could be obtained for completing it.

Catch Mastery: Ghost

On October 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, event-exclusive Timed Research was available.[2]
Alolan Marowak Raid Day
This event included a Raid Day on October 31st from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, featuring Alolan Marowak with exclusive move Shadow Bone.[3] Five Raid Passes were available during this event when spinning Gyms.
Day of the Dead

On November 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 2nd 11:59 p.m. local time, the game will be celebrating the Day of the Dead for the first time with a special event for Trainers in Latin America.[5]
