
Egg Incubators are items used to hatch Pokémon Eggs. In order to hatch an egg, a Trainer must place an Egg in an Incubator.
There are four types of Incubators:
- , an unlimited one which is orange in appearance and has infinite uses
- , a limited one which is blue in appearance and has three uses
- , which is purple in appearance and has three uses but hatches an Egg much faster
- , an additional unlimited one which is green in appearance but expires on a given date
To see currently owned Incubators there are two ways:
- The first one is to check it out on the item bag page

- and the second is to tap the Incubators Button
on the page with owned eggs.

Super Incubator[]

Details An additional infinite-use Incubator. Timed Incubators are obtained via Deluxe versions of certain GO Passes. Each Timed Incubator has an expiration date of one week after the GO Pass it was obtained in ends. If a Timed Incubator is currently incubating an Egg when it expires, it will be replaced with a single-use Egg Incubator that only lasts for as long as it takes to hatch the Egg.[1] |

- The Super Incubator was added to game assets in update 0.71.0. In this update designs of both limited and unlimited incubators were changed.
- The Super Incubator has a property called
distance_multiplierwith a value of0.6666666667. - The distance for an egg in an Incubator was tracked only when the game is open before Adventure Sync was introduced.
- A single-use version of Egg Incubator was available to obtain once per day from a PokéStop on Holiday 2016 to 2019.
- The Limited Incubator was introduced with GO Pass: September 2025.
