Day of the Dead was a mini event during Halloween 2020 event in Pokémon GO. The game was celebrating the Day of the Dead for the first time with a special event for Trainers in Latin America.[1]

  • The event happened on Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Guatemala, Ecuador, Bolivia, Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Paraguay, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Uruguay, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, Belize, Bahamas, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Grenada, St. Vincent and Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Curaçao, Aruba, U.S. Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Sint Maarten, Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands, Caribbean Netherlands, Anguilla, Montserrat, and the Falkland Islands.
  • At the start of the event, Incense only lasted for 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. This was fixed.[2]
