Charizard is a Fire, Flying-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Charmeleon after being fed 100 candies. Charizard is the final evolution of Charmander that is a Starter Pokémon. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y initially after being given 200 Mega Energy. It can Gigantamax into Gigantamax Charizard if it is capable to.
Pokédex description[]
Charizard flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents. It breathes fire of such great heat that it melts anything. However, it never turns its fiery breath on any opponent weaker than itself.
The overwhelming power that fills its entire body causes it to turn black and creates intense blue flames.
Its bond with its Trainer is the source of its power. It boasts speed and maneuverability greater than that of a jet fighter.
This colossal, flame-winged figure of a Charizard was brought about by Gigantamax energy.
