Charizard is a Fire, Flying-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Charmeleon after being fed 100 candies. Charizard is the final evolution of Charmander that is a Starter Pokémon. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y initially after being given 200 Mega Energy, and 40 afterwards.

Charizard flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents. It breathes fire of such great heat that it melts anything. However, it never turns its fiery breath on any opponent weaker than itself.
