Trivia
- Unlike in the Pokémon games of main series, Castform remains in the form it is captured as.
- Castform spawns in wild in a form corresponding to the weather:
- It spawns with Normal form when it's Partly-cloudy, Cloudy (overcast) or Windy.
- It spawns with Sunny form when it's Sunny (clear weather).
- It spawns with Rainy form when it's Rainy.
- It spawns with Snowy form when it's Snowy or Foggy.
- Castform in wild remains in the form corresponding to the weather at the time, that it has spawned, even if the weather changes, so it might occur that Castform's form doesn't correspond to current weather when player encounter it.
- Castform's candy colors were updated on August 30th, 2018 to reflect more appropriate colors of Castform.[1]
