Introducing Availability Table, which affects all Pokemon pages
When I see the Trivia section of some pages like Omanyte, I find it not easy to read the information because of the massive number of sentences from trivia templates. I've planned to create a new way to present availability with the CP and related events long time ago, and now I finally have time to do it - Template:AvailabilityTable.
- The layout of template is neat and simple. Readers instantly get the information by matching columns and rows. However, a cluster of words only hinder readers' interest to our wiki.
- Basically, the only information you need are method, CP, and some event time. They are in the old trivia templates, but are grouped with many unnecessary words.
- No need to change tense anymore.
- I will start a new section called "Avail…

Location found! Great for beginner players who need a head start!
Near my house there is a place called Grosse Pointe Village. I have found the following nests:
Piplup
Magikarp
Wailmer
Sableye
Sudowoodo
Turtwig
Misdrevous
Snorunt
Sneasle
Swinub
There are lots of ice, dark, ghost and water at Grosse Pointe. Great location for beginning players looking for a jumpstart and what not.
Separate event pages by years
The game keeps recycling different events, including real-world festivals or something like Adventure Week. There are many featured spawns, shiny, eggs, raids, researches and offers in the events. The event pages are getting longer and longer. The 4th Halloween event is coming in the next few months. If we still combine the same event in one page, it will be very long and not reader-friendly. It is tedious to scroll down to the latest event and I think the readers will be confused if different years are packed in a single page.
I suggest to split the event in years, similar to listing pages such as List of Raid Bosses changes or List of Pokémon forms by release date. Of course disambiguation tag will be added to each sub-page.

Dark is optional, all it does is give it a nice, dark look.
Help and questions
If you want to know if a pokemon can be shiny or if this Pokemon has been a community day pokemon I can answer your question.
Castforms Everywhere!
Yesterday, I caught 4 shiny castforms. Granted, it was with a weather boost, but if shinies are so rare, than why did I get 4 SHINY CASTFORMS!?! Also, why did I get 4, and my friend Simon( big thanks if you are reading this, Simon) got only 1? What about the 2 Shiny Lotads!?! I mean I like shinies and all, but this is ridiculous. Is Niantic just handing these shinies out like popcorn? Shinies are meant be rare. Well, I'm happy. Gonna add these guy to my list of shinies.
Dialga Caught!
About a week ago I caught Dialga. Me and 15 other friends(some of the same ones at the equinox exeggutor event) went to a gym nearby with the intention of converting it to mystic, when an egg appeared on top of it. Knowing that it was a legendary egg(tier 5), we stuck around the gym. The egg hatched and Dialga appeared! We each went through at least our top 4 best Pokemon to when we fought it, but it was so worth it! It was CP 2257! This was my 3rd successful legendary raid
Bagon Community Day!
My phone buzzed me about bagon community day today, and since I’ve almost fully evolved my shelgon, I know that day will be a great day to look for bagons, and hopefully find a shiny bagon! I’m super exited, because I have tyranitar and dragonite, but I’m missing the final one of what I like to call “the dragon trio”. Happy bagon community day! Who’s your favorite: salemence, dragonite or tyranitar? Tell me in the comments.
Ps: I don't need 15 comments saying that bagon community day is over, so don't comment when it ends.
I Feel Stupid Now
I have been notified that the equinox was the reason exeggutor became common on the wild.
I logged on to chat about lotad research day and chatted with admins about the title page.
I thought it was the next community day and was ridiculed by the admins. That was a fun experience..
Alolan Exeggutor Event?
Today, I traveled 4 miles from home. after about 2 miles of walking, I saw an alolan exeggutor. Normally, those are very rare in town. Not many people see them around here. After the encounter, I caught it and registered it to the Pokedex, thinking that it was just a lucky encounter. Days later, I saw many exeggutors around the neighborhood. All my friends were talking about all over the campus. We all went out to look for them. we each caught around 6 or 7, and and we all went in different directions. One of my friends actually caught 3 normal ones.

Deoxys
As I went downtown to North Chisholm Creek Park to do a Giratina raid I was ready when we got there we waited paitiently for the rest to arrive. 30 mins. later they showed and we started a Valor only group and won. I asked that someone catch my Giratina and they did. The next day I failed a shiny Drifloon and after school that day I logged on and I had a EX Raid Pass and that means Deoxys for me.

Potential risks to this wiki when gen 4 arrived
Niantic announced to change battle mechanics with the release of gen 4. Defense and Stamina stats will be changed, and even the cp formula might be changed.
This wiki uses a lot of data templates to record stats and cp at different levels. When the stats are updated, the cp of Pokemon will be changed too. What I concern is, this will change the information in some old pages (e.g. egg and raid cp in Ultra Bonus Event). I think the old data deserve to be kept for historical reason.
I suggest to make a new sets of templates to handle this. For example, Template:Data/Defense and Template:Data/Stamina will be updated to the new stat, and then we make Template:Data/Defenseo and Template:Data/Staminao to record the old data. As a result, something l…
