Beedrill is a Bug, Poison-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Kakuna after being fed 50 candies. Beedrill is the final evolution of Weedle. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Beedrill initially after being given 100 Mega Energy, and 20 afterwards.

Standard Pokédex description
Beedrill is extremely territorial. No one should ever approach its nest—this is for their own safety. If angered, they will attack in a furious swarm.
Mega Pokédex description
Its legs have become poison stingers. It stabs its prey repeatedly with the stingers on its limbs, dealing the final blow with the stinger on its rear.

  • On February 16th, 2017, Bug Bite was replaced with Infestation.
  • Normally, evolved stages of Pokémon cannot be shiny in encounter screen, but exceptionally on Mega Evolution release, Beedrill could.
