Articuno is an Ice, Flying-type Legendary Pokémon from the Kanto region. It does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Along with Zapdos and Moltres, it is a member of the Legendary Birds.

Articuno is the mascot Pokémon of Team Mystic.

Articuno is a Legendary Pokémon that can control ice. The flapping of its wings chills the air. As a result, it is said that when this Pokémon flies, snow will fall.
