The official blog made an announcement of shiny Cubone, which is done for new-released Shiny Pokémon. However, shiny Cubone had already been released in Ingress Prime Celebration, an event in November 2018.
During the first few hours of the event in Australia and New Zealand regions, the Psyduck given from the Timed Research was a guaranteed shiny.
