Sableye

My Charizard is a Hundo Level 50.

Also got a Shiny Sableye during Spotlight Hour and hatched my 8th Toxel from my final Wild Area egg!

I didn't post this a few days ago because I was lazy, but I ended the event with an Incense Walk. I got my 4th Shiny Sableye and 9th Shiny Scyther (not including the 3 Shiny Kleavor I got from the Raid Day). I didn't get any Shiny Costumed Duskull or Cubone unfortunately. I also won all three Duskull showcases for the third event in a row. I finally got the Platinum Dragon Medal with some Bagon and Goomy that spawned during my walk. And I finished the Master Ball Research by doing a Bombirdier raid!

Thanks for the raid invite @SinisterSpirit4562! I don't think I would have got Mega Energy for Sableye otherwise, and now I have enough for two separate ones if I wanted.

I picked Nosepass for the Research task and made a good choice. First, I got a Shiny Caterpie from the single encounter in Part 1.

Then the first and last Nosepass encounters in part two were shiny!

From 21 PokéStop tasks (luckily none were send gifts to friends), I got Shiny Barboach, Shiny Magikarp (with the worst possible stats to boot), and a Hundo Nosepass!

Nothing interesting for Sableye, but I already have two Shinies as well as a couple shadows that can be Purified for Hundos.

I got a few XXL and XXS Pokémon today too.

The best thing that happened to me today was I hatched Larvesta from a 5 KM Egg! I got it on May 30th.

I could feed it 384 Rare Candy and evolve it right now, but this isn't a very good one. Not even 3 stars.

It was a fun day, just wish it wasn't so hot and that it wasn't so hard to see my phone. Also, I wasn't able to spin any Gold PokéStops because they were too rare.

Took a break to recharge (both phone and stomach) and about to head out again. I got 5 shinies so far, 3 Pikachus (definitely boosted), a Sableye (first research task), and a Surskit (I picked Surskit from the Research). I also got my 4th Shiny Delibird last night.

I got two XXL and four XXS

And I saw 6 wild Latias, 3 and 4 were right next to each other and I actually caught #5 using an Ultra Ball, Gold Razz, and Great Throw!

And I did one Groudon raid (thanks @MVH43 and @PuggySavvy I caught it), and two Kyogre raids. Both Kyogre escaped, but I need to do minimum 3/4 for Primal Reversion anyways, so I hope I can catch one of the next couple

So the match went like this.

My first Pokémon was Shiftry, against their shadow swampert. OBVIOUSLY this was the absolute I could have. They switched immediately into Skarmory, so I farmed a bit from bullet seed, then switched into my talonflame. Got about 3 incinerates, after that they skyattacked, which I didn’t shield, and I flame charged. they then switched into their S-Swamp, think I flamecharged but they didn’t shield. They knocked me out with Hydro Cannon, so I switched into Shiftry. I knocked it out, after shielding one hydro cannon. They now had Talonflame. My last Pokémon was Sableye. I got 1-2 bullet seeds out and then immediately switched into sableye. the problem was, they had 2 shields left. I got about 3 shadow claws out, then they flamecharged, which I shielded, using my last shield. It looked like there was no chance of me winning, against a +1 talonflame with a glass cannon weak to fire. I got out one foul play, burning their shield! They flamecharged, and now it was a 1v1 of Talonflame and Shiftry. Somehow, I had pretty much max energy, so I leaf bladed, hoped and hoped for a shield, and they……..SHIELDED. But it’s not over yet. Somehow, I had the exact energy for my hurricane(yes not foul play), and I tapped, without them doing anything.I hurricaned, and won.

This is why you use Shiftry, and use hurricane instead of foul play. This is because people honestly don’t expect a Shiftry killing their grass, fighting types.

My English sucks

I got 16 shinies. One was at the start, one was at 4:37, and the other 14 were between 2:40 (when I headed out) and 3:50 (when my Shiny luck dropped off)

I evolved 5 Chesnaught, kept one as Quilladin, and I completed the Special Research.

Speaking of Research, I did enough evolutions to finish the Level 43 Challenge! I need incubators to hatch Relicanth next month (although I spent three uses today to hatch two Pawniard and a Larvitar)

I got a couple great Shadow Pokémon today.

And I caught my first Kecleon about 25 minutes after the event ended!

My only wish is that Chespin was easier to catch, but it was a decent day. Kecleon made it better.

Also, something interesting: If you have two devices, only one slot left to store Pokémon, enter two different encounters and catch both, you can go over the capacity. The only thing stopping you form ignoring the capacity all together is the pop up that won't let you enter the encounter.

Another Spheal and a Meditite. This is my 19th Shiny Spheal (16 from Community Day, 1 from GO Fest, 2 from this event) and my third Shiny Meditite. Not a bad haul considering I have almost all of the shinies from this event already. No Stunfisk or Pikachu though (only did four Pikachu encounters though, so that's reasonable)

Evolved three Sealeos to Walrein including my Rank One Ultra League Walrein!

Completed some Research

I caught a 96% Shadow Sableye and 96% Typhlosion from a raid! Should I Purify the Sableye for a Hundo? I hear Purified Return Sableye is really good for Great League and Hundo is the best non-XL stats

I got 52,020 experience in a single catch!

Bulbasaur got the wrong date for his Community Day and ended up at Spheal's...
